  • Finally found a Ramen place that actually makes proper broth. (Sometimes it's a touch too salty) But Im in love . (The only thing that would make this better would be possibility to go spicy, like really spicy, and a garlic crusher with garlic cloves on the tables :) but that's just specific to some places)

  • Food is good! For me personally tan tan men is a bit salty. Service is satisfying. I didnt see soft drinks on the menu and we got free tap water, i am happy. It would be nice to have hot tea as in Japan though... just my opinion.

  • I was wishing to try this new Ramen restaurant in Bilbao, even more knowing that Kuma staff was behind. As expected, nice evening there. Cooked slowly, served fast... really fast, less than 5 minutes (I must say taht we went early and there weren't many people yet). We wanted to try some of the starters, but the waitress kindly informed us that the Ramen plates were enough for the dinner... so we decided to taste them another time (by the look of the Baos from other clients... good for sure). We chose classical Shio Ramen and the spicy TanTanMen. Both delicious, the waitress explained that the TanTanMen spicy flavour come from the chopped pork meet, and after stirring the hole plate it would be just a spicy touch. And so it was, delicious.

  • The staff was friendly and I loved the atmosphere inside But a little bit disappointed with the ramen. Personally, the noodle and pork were a bit overcooked. I don't really like ramen with sticky soup, but if you boil the noodles separately from the soup, or rinse them after you boil the noodles, you can reduce the stickiness of the soup. But I like the taste of the soup!

  • Great place to get your ramen fix or fancy something different when you've had too many pintxos. The takoyaki starter was authentic in taste with a good piece of octopus in each one. There is a choice of soy based or miso based broth for all the ramens on the menu. We went with the miso base and this was thick, creamy and rich. The authentic ramen noodles were cooked perfectly with the right amount of bite and firmness. The char siu was well seasoned. The fish cake and vegetables were freshly made and was just the right amount. You can add additional toppings such as vegetables, char siu, egg, duck tataki, beef or fried chicken. The duck tataki was delicious with just the right charred flavour. Service was friendly and efficient. The decor was nice with famous Japanese anime/manga characters around the open plan kitchen. Overall, a solid choice for authentic Japanese tonkotsu based ramen at a reasonable price.

  • If you’re looking for great ramen in Bilbao, this place is a must-try. I had the Paitan ramen with truffle and torched A4 wagyu beef. The broth was creamy and rich, with the truffle flavor adding a nice depth. The wagyu beef was beautifully presented and melted in my mouth—absolutely delicious. The only downside was that the noodles and chashu pork were slightly overcooked. The Mazeudon (brothless udon) was also great. The spicy minced pork and fried peanuts gave it bold and satisfying flavors. We also tried the takoyaki, which was simple, authentic, and perfect as an appetizer. The restaurant has a lively and cozy atmosphere. The staff was friendly, attentive, and active, making sure everything ran smoothly. We didn’t book but got seated near the kitchen counter, which surprisingly wasn’t hot or smelly—something many places struggle with. Overall, a delicious experience with great service. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!

  • If you are looking for authentic ramen in Bilbao, you've found your place. You'll have different ramen formats to choose, from the most traditional to some other more innovative alternatives. If you like tuna (like really good tuna) you must try the tuna tartare with white rice. The only thing I would change is to add some other non-ramen options, as it's difficult for whole group to feel ramen-y!
